Research context

CJC-1295 (no DAC) is a modified fragment of growth hormone-releasing hormone studied in models of pulsatile growth-hormone release from the anterior pituitary. Without the drug affinity complex, its activity window is short, which makes it a common tool for examining physiological, episodic secretion patterns rather than sustained elevation. Ipamorelin is a pentapeptide growth-hormone secretagogue noted in the literature for its selectivity: preclinical work reports growth-hormone release without the accompanying cortisol or prolactin shifts observed with older secretagogues.

The blend is studied because the two compounds act on distinct receptors — GHRH receptor and ghrelin/GHS-R1a respectively — and rodent and cell-culture models have used the combination to examine synergistic effects on the amplitude of growth-hormone pulses, downstream IGF-1 signalling, and endpoints in body-composition and tissue-synthesis research. Storage and reconstitution

Lyophilised CJC-1295 & Ipamorelin is stable for 24 months or more when kept sealed, dry, and away from light. Store unopened vials at -20°C for long-term holding, and allow a vial to equilibrate to room temperature before breaking the seal so that condensation does not enter the powder.

Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water directed against the vial wall rather than onto the powder cake, then swirl gently until fully dissolved — do not shake or vortex, as mechanical shear can degrade the peptides. Once in solution, keep the vial refrigerated at 2–8°C, protect it from light and heat, and use within a typical research handling window of around 30 days; aliquot rather than subjecting the solution to repeated freeze–thaw cycles.
